Game Show Contestant Button Design

A popular TV Game Show wants you to manufacture them a new button for use by contestants to slap down when they want to answer. The design is based on a simplified spring model.

This game is designed to be an introductory tutorial. It might seem trivially easy, there are various guard rails and hints in place to simplify the problem, but the intent is to give you a quick survey of how the games will function and to mentor you through some basic set-based convergence strategies.

After you quickly work through this exercise, you can move on to the more challenging levels and apply what you have learned.
